FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions:

When Are Services?

Each Sunday morning we have our Sunday School at 9:30 AM and our Main Worship Service at 10:30 AM. Each service includes a time of music, and a very practical message to help communicate the theme in a way that just makes sense for life today. While adults are enjoying the service, King's Way provides excellent programs for children from birth through 6th grade.

In addition to our worship on Sunday, we also have a Wednesday night celebration at 7:00 PM with activities for the Adults, Youth, and Children. The Adult Bible Study in the sanctuary is taught by Pastor Dan and is more "in-depth" as we dig deeper into the Word of God.

How do I get to King's Way?

We are located in the Northeast corner of Cape Coral at 2016 Kismet Parkway East and is easily accessible from Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, and Fort Myers. We are easily visible and only 1 mile east of Del Prado Blvd and 1/4 of a mile west of NE 24th Ave. on Kismet Parkway East.

Click on the "Map and Directions" sub-menu under our "Contact" menu for directions right from your home. Just enter your address and hit the "Get Directions" button.

What can I expect on my first visit?

From the moment you pull into the parking lot, we want you to feel at home. Easy drop off is available under our covered front entryway for those rainy days here in Southwest Florida. Our hospitality team will be ready to welcome you, provide a morning worship guide and help answer any questions you may have.

Also our main foyer has a guest services center that will provide additional information for you about children’s ministries, youth, and any other information you may need to make your visit with us as stress free as possible. This is also where you can check in your children for their age-appropriate ministry.

As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you, assist you with seating if you so desire, and make sure you have all the information you need in order to relax and enjoy the service!

What is a weekend service like?

Whether it is your first time at King's Way, or you've been attending for years, you will especially enjoy God's presence in our service. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, we want you to experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, as well as the love and encouragement of Christ.

We want to encourage you to take the time during the worship service, as we sing to the Lord, to experience His presence, worship in a way that will renew your spirit, call upon the Lord to asnwer the concerns of your heart, believe God for healing and restoration, and listen for His voice to speak and lead you.

As a pentecostal church, we believe that the Holy Spirit uses the specific gifts of the Holy Spirit as found in 1 Corinthians 12, and throughout the book of Acts, in order to speak TO and THROUGH His people.  This means that we EXPECT GOD TO SHOW UP, an we come ready to not only worship, but to dynamically interact with the Spirit of God in that time of worship!

Our desire is also to communicate the message of God's Word in such a way that inspires you to live out the Kingdom principles of Christ in your daily life.We believe that the truth of Scripture is our foundation to life, and we look to God's Word with the expectation that He will reveal Himself in greater ways!

Where do I take my children?

At King's Way, we believe that our children are our most valuable asset. You will find first-class programs for your children, from birth through 6th grade.

ALL of our children's workers (in all Zones) undergo background checks as a part of our safety commitment to you. We also utilize a numbering system for drop-off and pick-up, as well as for emergency notification during the service.

The Children's Ministry Areas are as follows:
Our Nursery, caring for ages 0-3, is a safe, clean, and warm environment for your children.

The Sparklers, for ages 4-6 (or in Kindergarten), utilizes crafts, stories, and loving care in order to help your kids enjoy their time in God's house. That sparkle of faith begins at this age as children begin to comprend the wonderful love of Christ and have a faith that "sparkles" with hope in Him!

The Rockets. Your children, from 1st through 6th grade, will have a wonderful experience built just for them. Your girls and boys will experience church like never before, with activities to present God's truth in fun and innovative ways. They won't want to miss a single service as their faith rockets to a new level of confidence and growth in their faith in Christ.

Please check out the Children's Ministries section of this website for more information.

Do you have something for students?

Our Student Ministry, MOMENTUM, for those in 7th -12th grade, is the place to be. MOMENTUM takes place on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 in the Youth Room. It is an awesome time of music, activities, and a message that challenges students in their spiritual journey.

What should I wear?

Come comfortable. Most of us wear business casual, but styles range from person to person. We're not concerned with what you wear or what you look like. Our desire is to see God work in your life in the way in which He intended for you when you were just a twinkle in HIs eye! He loves you, and we love you too!

F.I.R.E. Groups

How Our Small Groups Produce Ministry

Every living thing is made of smaller cells. This entity we know as the church is more than an institution, a building, a philosophy, or even a religion. The "Church" is the Body and the Bride of Christ.

For this reason, we have learned that the Christian life was never meant to be lived in isolation - after all, the first thing that God said was "not good" was "aloneness." We were meant to live in unity and community. These relationships connect us to God, to one another, and to our purpose in life.

That is why, at King's Way, we value "small groups." Yes, we have our main celebration services on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM, and on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. But these are only a part of the picture of what goes on at King's Way Christian Center.

F.I.R.E. Groups (Faith Inspiring Relational Evangelism) are small groups that meet twice a month on a Sunday evening in leader's homes.  The conversation is based on the message from that morning, and the groups provide opportunities for relationship, personal conversations about faith issues, encouragement, and an opportunity to pray for one another as we seek to make a difference in our homes, church. workplace, and community.

As you can see, what happens in our worship services is only the tip of the iceberg! So much more happens that is driven by the small groups that make up this living organism we call "the church" and Jesus calls His beloved "Bride."

The Future

Not only are we each navigating our personal journey of faith, but as a church King's Way is setting a course for a bright and inspiring future.

We have already watched with amazement as God has gifted us with such wonderful people whose diversity, passion, love for one another, and unhindered devotion to God make this an exciting place to be.

Building on the DNA of a passion for God, a heart for the community, and a willingness to love and serve, there is no limit to what God can do in us and through us as we live to serve God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength!

What lies ahead is in God's hands. We are believing God for favor and blessing in the form of opportunities to minister to our community and utilize each person's gifts and talents to demonstrate God's love to a hurting world.

We're far from finished - there is always more to do. For this reason we expect our future to be determined by God's desire for us, as well as by the passions of those He joins with us in worship and service.

So, how about you? What's your desire? How does God want to use you to shape the future of King's Way? How will He use King's Way to shape your future? These are exciting questions that we answer as we grow together in Faith, Friendship, and the Function that build an exciting future of life in Christ.

The Journey

Take the journey with us!

Who is King's Way? We are more than just a church, and we certainly are not just another religious institution. We are a community of people from all walks of life who are simply in love with Jesus.

Why do we love gathering together? It's because we are always amazed to see how God is working in our lives. We're not perfect, and you don't have to be perfect to worship with us. But we are aware that Jesus Christ has done something incredible to give us a life that is filled with joy and peace, no matter what comes our way.

We believe that faith is a journey - that we are all learning and growing together - and that no matter what stage you are at in your journey of faith, you will be encouraged to be a part of this group of people. It's a group of people who come from vastly different racial, generational, and cultural backgrounds, and yet find great joy as we experience this journey together.

See for yourselves why the King's Way community is so unique. Join us in one of our worship services. That's just the beginning of the great relationships you'll find, and journey of faith you will enjoy.

Our Mission

A mission for all of us...

What is it that drives us. What keeps us going - day after day - and drives everything that we do?

It is the incredible reality that God has given us the privilege of being His hands and heart to the world in which we live.
Because we care about those around us, and because we know that faith is a journey, not just a destination, we seek to do all that we can to help others discover the joy of a relationship with Jesus.

For this reason, our mission is to help skeptics, seekers, and believers on their journey toward becoming passionately devoted and missional disciples of Jesus Christ.

So join us in this mission. Be a part of something bigger than yourself - bigger than any of us - something that will have eternal value in the life of another person whose life will forever be changed because you cared enough to share the love of Jesus!

Our Vision

Our Vision...

If our mission is to help seekers and believers become fully devoted disciples of Christ, then we must have a compelling vision of how we will achieve that goal.

Our vision is what directs us in ministry.

Our vision is to become a multi-cultural community of individuals experiencing life in Christ together.

This is because we see the future of the King's Way family built around relationships. In fact, Friendships, Faith, and Function are key elements of our journey.

We know we must thrive when we live in friendship with God, and with others. We have a resonating faith in a resurrected King that we want to share with each other and those around us. We have a function that God has given to us as a community of faith, and as individual believers.

So, what does this thing look like? We equip God's people to work together to accomplish all that He has for us -- all while enjoying the relationships, relevance, and reality of shared faith that God intended for us.  I means that we believe in the priesthood of the believers - that ALL of us are called to worship, minister, and serve the Lord and one another in the body of Christ.

As we join with others in spiritual community, our lives are enriched, our community is enhanced, and our world is changed.

Now is the time to jump in and share this vision with us. We'd love to share more with you about the fantastic future that is set before you as we trust God and serve Him together.

Our Values:

What we believe about life, people, and ministry

  • The local church is the hope of the world.
  • God is. Church styles and methods change, but the eternal Word of God endures!
  • Dream big, work hard, and pray like crazy.
  • Playing it safe is risky.
  • We must always balance Compassion with Conviction as we speak the truth in love.
  • You can never out give God.
  • Faith in Christ was never intended to be lived alone.
  • It is never too late to become what God created you to be.
  • Everyone has a place where they add the most value.
  • The Christian life is a journey not a destination.
  • Love people when they don’t expect it and least deserve it.

Our Strategies:

How We Accomplish Our Mission and Vision

  • Evangelism - Showing Christ to my friends, family, and my world.
  • Worship - Giving all I am and all I have to God.
  • Discipleship - Learning and teaching others life in Christ.
  • Fellowship - Experiencing meaningful relationships with others.
  • Service - Using my gifts, talents, and time to help my church and my world.
